Love this luxurious framed print :) Really nice monochrome typography with a cheeky side.

Another animation I did with my logo.

An animation I did for the show. I thought it would be interesting to make the neon turn off and on.

My final flyers.
First picture is the front of the flyer and the others are the back, one for friends and family and another for the industry night.

Some initial experiments.

When you think of the Eureka Moment, the first visual reference you get is the light bulb, which has been used too many times and it’s become a cliche. So, as an alternative to the light bulb, I’ve based my whole concept in neon signs. This is the typeface I’ve created for this brief.

The first picture is the typeface done in illustrator, with no effects and the second picture is the same typeface, but with some glowing effects I’ve added using photoshop.

Brand the Show brief

The theme and name for my show will be Eureka.

After all the ideas, experiments, research, developments, choices, final decisions, every student, designer, painter, artist has this moment when they see the light at the end of the tunnel, when they have “The Idea” and my show will be based on this, the Eureka Moment.

For my poster, I had to create my own picture that included all the iconic things from London. I found a picture that I liked and added some things to it. I also changed the Big Ben from the middle of the picture to the right corner so I had more space to write my tag line.  This is the before and after of my manipulation.

Designed this brand so I can include it in my poster. I noticed that some adverts, like the “Surprise yourself, visit Scotland” one, have a little logo/brand at the end. So, I did one for Manchester.

Keeping the the idea of using what materials we have to save money we decided for our magazine cover we would keep the same idea as we have done with our garments. We decided to create another photo shoot using powder we had used. Kindly our two models let us throw the powder paint onto them as we wanted to create a decisive moment in which we had been researching earlier on in our project. We wanted to create a fun lively feel to our brand and magazine cover which would make people want to pick it up and read it!
